Open Water Swim followed by Bike/Run at Deam Lake State Park (approx. 7 miles NW of Sellersburg on State Road 60 in Clark County, Indiana).  All triathletes welcome.  Distances will vary according to level and preference.  Meet in Beach Parking Lot at Deam Lake or at 6:45 AM at Four Seasons Grocery (1 mile from landfill on the right) to carpool into the park.

Monday's "Regroup" meeting was encouraging. We had about 10 people in attendance and we spent most of the time talking about who we are and what direction we need to take. One thing is clear. The monthly information meetings aren't working. So, we may to to a quarterly format. The group felt that training opportunities are most important. That said, new comers Brian Thompson an Chris Larson are taking the lead on the following "set time" opportunites. Group ride: Saturdays @ 8:00 am Meet across from Stop Lite Wine & Spirits on River Road. Group open water swim w/ a run option: Sunday's @ 8:00 am at Deam Lake in Indiana.

We'll see how participation goes for the month of June and then decide what our next move is. If you're interested in the open water swim this Sunday, meet at Four Seasons grocery which is 1 mile from landfill on right to carpool into the park, at 7:45 am. Hope to see many of you at either or both events. Any feedback on the direction we're taking will be appreciated. We're still planning on Ironman Louisville participation. More info to follow.

CLUB HIGH POINT COMPETITION

Purpose: To promote local triathlon competition. To recognize and reward members who achieve superior performance at local triathlons. All members of ther Louisville Landsharks are eligible to participate. Cash prizes awarded in each age group.
